Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Legs Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth legs for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles, hormones, and lifestyle. Regular waxing often leads to finer, sparser regrowth and longer intervals between appointments.

Some discomfort is common, especially on the first visit, but trained estheticians use gentle wax and soothing methods. Exfoliate beforehand, avoid caffeine, breathe steadily, and regular waxing usually reduces sensitivity.

Ensure hair is about a quarter inch long, exfoliate a couple days before, avoid heavy moisturizers or oils on the day, and arrive with clean, dry skin. Avoid sunburns or recent tanning.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, and vigorous exercise for 24 hours. Apply a gentle soothing lotion or aloe, exfoliate lightly after 48 hours, and use SPF to protect treated skin from pigmentation.

Shaving between waxing sessions removes hair at the surface and undermines waxing benefits. If you must remove stray hairs, try to let visible regrowth return so future waxes can grip hair effectively.

Active sunburns, skin infections, recent chemical peels, certain medications or topical retinoids can make waxing unsafe. Disclose medical history and medications when booking so we can advise or reschedule.
